Our in-house fabrication workshop delivers bespoke structural steelwork, hoppers, chutes, silo support frames, walkways and access stairs for the quarrying, minerals processing and heavy industrial sectors — to BS EN 1090.
Design & Engineering
We work from your loading schedules and general arrangement drawings, or take your concept right through detailed design to issued-for-construction status. All structural design is executed to the relevant Eurocodes (BS EN 1990 to BS EN 1999) with UK National Annexes.
Workshop Fabrication to BS EN 1090
From structural beams and columns to hoppers, transfer chutes, silo support frames, access platforms and walkways, we produce high-quality fabrication work to BS EN 1090-1 and 1090-2 with full Declaration of Conformity. Welds are visually inspected and, where required by specification, NDT tested.
Access Steelwork & Platforms
Stairs, ladders, handrails, walkways and inspection platforms designed for safe access, egress and maintenance in line with BS EN ISO 14122. Anti-fall arrangements, kick plates and load ratings to suit the operational environment.
On-Site Installation & Protective Coatings
Our experienced site teams carry out full installation works, including crane lifts and integration with existing plant systems. Protective coating systems are specified and applied for the relevant ISO 12944 corrosivity class to give long service life in arduous quarry and processing environments.
